Crete Country Christmas Parade of Lights

Participating in local events is just one thing that we love to do, especially parades.  This years Parade of Lights was a huge success, with a large turn out from the community!  The parade is just one event of many that the Village of Crete and the local businesses put together during Crete Country Christmas.

Pits and Pints at Crete Country Christmas

The Pits and Pints event was just one of the events at the 2019 Crete Country Christmas, the event  sponsored It's a Pittie Rescue and 3D Wildlife Rescue & Rehab.  Pits and Pints was held at Evil Horse Brewery, located on Main Street in Crete, Illinois.  SERVPRO of Chicago Heights- Crete- Beecher was very proud to donate a gift basket to this wonderful event.

It’s A Pittie Rescue is dedicated to rescuing, re-habbing, and re-homing the Pit Bull breeds and educating people about one of America’s most loyal and kind breed, one dog at a time.

Watseka Park District Super Safety Saturday and SERVPRO

Our team member Bill Wilczcnski from SERVPRO of Matteson-Homewood, Chicago Heights-Crete-Beecher and Kankakee County attended the Watseka Park District Super Safety Saturday recently.  The event was open to the public and emphasizes a variety of programs to teach kids fire safety awareness.  For more information on the Watseka Park District, visit http://www.watsekaparks.org/  The Watseka Park District is proud to serve the local community by providing services such as the toddler program, summer camps, birthday parties, after school program and much more. The ILA, Illinois Library Association's Annual Conference

This annual conference hosted by the ILA directs attention to their efforts for community engagement by leaders to emphasize the need for our residents to learn to use available resource materials to better their lives. Our SERVPRO of  Chicago Heights / Crete / Beecher tireless Sales & Marketing Rep, Bill Wilczynski, in front of our showstopper, was on hand to share information with library representatives and visitors. He passed out and explained the ERP brochures, see on the right, to help residents maintain a secure and safe position, during a weather-related or severe man-made incident. SERVPRO Chicago Heights-Crete-Beecher Hosted the CE 2016 Fall Classes

SERVPRO of Chicago Heights / Crete / Beecher recently convened their bi-annual Continuing Education Classes for insurance professionals in our local communities. Todd Davis, from Davis Agency, instructed the required classes for licensing renewal. Bill Wilczynski, Andrea Ehmen, Joanne Mutter and Matt Leisure, our Sales & Marketing Reps, spent time with the insurance professionals in an effort to better serve our local communities.

MABAS 24 Golf Tournament at Lincoln Oaks Golf Club

Bill Wilczynski and Andrea Ehmen from SERVPRO of Chicago Heights-Crete-Beecher, Matteson-Homewood, and Kankakee County attended the MABAS 24 Golf outing at Lincoln Oaks Golf Club in Crete, IL.  The Third District Fire Chiefs' Association MABAS 24 Inc. represents Fire Departments in South Suburban Cook County, Illinois. The object and purpose of this Association shall be the mobilization of forces to assist one another under existing mutual aid agreements, especially in case of fire or emergency beyond the facilities or control of any individual department, and for the mutual education and advancement of the science of fire extinguishment, fire prevention, public education, EMS, and Hazardous Materials. Our team takes pride in being an active part of the Chicago Heights area community and are glad to do our part in making it better than ever. He was invited by Chief Jeff Glenn, from the Ashkum Fire Department and President of MABAS 37.

Fundraisers Event, the Olivet Nazarene Tigers and the Chicago Bears

Bears Training Camp 2016 was kicked off by two special guest speakers.  The Mayor of Palatine and former Bears linebacker Jim Schwantz, and the former "Center" of attention for the Bears Jay Hilgenberg. They addressed this year's team and responded to questions from fans that participated in this double fundraiser. Brian McCaskey made a special presentation to Dr. John Bowling as a gesture of good will and hospitality between the Chicago Bears organization and Olivet Nazarene University. The annual fundraiser for Bears Care was held along with a special fundraiser to assist the Olivet Football team. This team gives up its training facilities while Pre-Season Bear Camp is in session. SERVPRO of Chicago Heights / Crete / Beecher was in attendance for support of both organizations. Olivet Nazarene University and The Chicago Bears we honor with our dedication to our local communities.

Iroquois County Fairgrounds Event 2016

Flooding hit South Holland Friday, July 29, 2016, due to scattered storms. Many found it difficult to navigate around the severe floodwaters. Several cars were stuck under a bridge submerged in water.
